BMW M3 SEIZED & Driver Arrested

SAFER STREETTS officers City shave taken swift action after their attention was drawn to a vehicle Revving the engine in a busy area with large numbers of pedestrians present on QUAY STREET.

Officers approached the vehicle and spoke with the occupants and asked to pull to the side however driver had other ideas and failed to stop all be it getting stuck 10 meters away in the Saturday Night traffic on Deansgate. Driver was dragged out of vehicle and arrested for Fail to Stop. It became obvious there was a smell of alcohol coming from the driver who was breathalysed who blew over the prescribed limit. 

The driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving drive. 

The BMW M3 was also seized.
